Police in Milford say one man is dead after a single car crash on Route 101 in the area of Route 13 Friday.
Milford Police arrived at the scene at around 4:09 p.m.
An early investigation showed the vehicle was travelling westbound on Route 101 near the Route 13 overpass where it went off the roadway and struck a few trees.
Police have identified the single driver as 52-year-old Arthur Hall of Wilton.
Route 101 in the area of Route 13 was closed for around 4 hours as a result of the crash.
Police say that speed may have been a factor and the crash is under investigation.
The Milford Police Department was assisted by Milford Fire and Ambulance. Additionally, The New Hampshire Department of Transportation and Amherst Police also responded to the scene.
