Video taken by a citizen journalist last week shows 38-year-old Brandon Lemagne, fighting with a Fairfax County police officer, then crashing a police cruiser, before what ended with over 20 rounds of gunfire by two officers.
This all started when an officer pulled over Lemagne for reports of a stolen U-Haul.
“The officers who responded did so quickly and acted with a great amount of bravery, particularly our 24-year veteran who literally pulled the assailant off of our police officer,” said Fairfax County Police Chief Kevin Davis at a news conference last week.
