Who played Julie Mayer on Desperate Housewives?

They share custody of Julie, though she lives primarily with Susan. Julie is characterized as “bright and self-sufficient and extremely mature for her age.”. She often acts as the parental figure in her relationship with Susan, especially following Susan ‘s divorce from Karl.

Julie returns to Wisteria Lane for the summer to help her mother with her upcoming wedding. During this time, she forms a relationship with Danny Bolen ( Beau Mirchoff ), who has moved in across the street with his parents. The relationship is turbulent and short-lived. When Julie is found, strangled outside her house and comatose, Danny is the prime suspect. As the other characters work to reveal the identity of Julie’s attacker, her affair with Danny’s father, Nick ( Jeffrey Nordling ), and a pregnancy scare prior to the attack are exposed. Several months after waking up from her coma, Julie decides to visit relatives on the East Coast until her attacker is caught. In the episode ” Epiphany “, Julie’s attacker is revealed to be Eddie Orlofsky ( Josh Zuckerman ), who mistook her for Susan and was planning to attack her for rejecting him.
Eventually, Susan bans Zach from seeing Julie due to his increasingly disturbing behavior, but they continue dating in secrecy.

Julie and Susan find out that Zach Young has gone to a mental institution. Julie breaks in, and she and Zach discuss his reasons for being there and what may have happened to “Dana”. Julie tells her mother about the conversation, and Susan begins to investigate further.
She later tells him that Julie does not want to see him but Zach believes that it is because Susan tells Julie lies about him. Susan ‘s kitchen catches fire and Zach is responsible as he is mad at her. (” Fear No More “) Julie asks if Sophie can stay a little longer when she ‘s going off with Morty out of courtesy.
Julie and Susan then move into a caravan outside their burned house. Karl sees this way of living and does not approve. He goes out and he buys a house for the two of them to live in, however, Susan refuses the offer, much to Karl’s dismay, and Julie agrees with the suggestion not to accept it.
Susan is very mad at Julie for lying to her but Julie is even more mad that Susan betrayed Zach the way she did. (” Come Back to Me “) It’s Julie’s birthday and she has a party with a few friends and they go karaokeing. Susan comes along with Mike and Karl comes along with Edie.
Susan interrupts their kiss and starts to ask questions about the boy’s piercings, the fact that Susan is upset makes Julie upset. When Mike’s drug dealer comes to the house, Susan is unaware of who she is and gets him to talking with Julie and the two hit it off, she tries to set them up.
