Kelly Killoren Bensimon was born Kelly Jean Killoren in Rockford, Illinois. Growing up, she attended Keith Country Day School, which is a college prep academy in Rockford, Illinois.
In her teens, she began working as a model. After her graduation from high school, she attended Trinity College in Connecticut. However, she soon left the school after a year.
She graduated from Columbia’s School of General Studies for non-traditional students in 1998, with a degree in Literature and Writing.
She pursued further studies later in her life and completed an MBA with a focus on International Marketing at Northeastern University in 2015.
