DJ Akademiks’ main account on Instagram has been taken down. Hip-hop media mainstay DJ Akademiks will likely spend much of the day wondering what happened to his Instagram page because his popular account with millions of followers mysteriously disappeared overnight.
As fans have pointed out, the Off The Record podcast host appeared to have been shadow-banned on Instagram before his account was taken down outright. His main page, @akademiks, is no longer available to be found on the platform, and Ak is using his alternate account, @djakademikstv, for the time being.
DJ Akademiks, also known as Livingston Allen, is a jamaican youtuber. He creates satirical videos discussing social issues and news stories in a light-hearted, almost poking-fun manner. He frequently comments on big rappers and the hip hop community, also delving into his own perspective and thoughts revolving around rumours.
Angelica Ggx is an Instagram star with over 310,000 followers on the social media platform. DJ Akademiks and Angelica met over a stream. He called her for an interview, and after completing 2 over facetime through twitch, they decided to meet up in person.
