The first crop the Gourmand Frog wants you to grow is da pink thing. This hint should narrow down the crop you need to plant. To complete this portion of the questline you need to grow Melons on the island farm. Once you’ve planted the Melons you need to tend to them until they are fully grown.
Finally, the frog wants “da zesty ground-fruit, but make da breath stink.” Pungent, underground-dwelling Garlic fits the bill here. Players cannot complete all the quests at once; rather, they must collect the reward for one the frog will tell them what he wants to see next.
The Frog will give the player a small and vague hint at the type of crop it is with just a few words. For example, the Frog will request a “Long yellow thing” to grow, leading the player to grow wheat in his yard. The player will also be rewarded for each correctly guessed crop the player grows.
