According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, a single-car rollover accident in the Town of Providence on Sunday night claimed the life of a 17-year-old. Galway resident Tyler Scocca apparently lost control of his vehicle.
Scocca, the only occupant of the vehicle, was declared dead at the spot, according to deputies. According to an inquiry, Scocca lost control, departed the south side of the road, and rolled over into a tree while traveling west on Hans Creek Road, west of Fayville Road.
According to law authorities, speed appears to have contributed to the collision. The Providence Fire Department, Edinburg Fire Department, Galway Fire Department, and Galway EMS all provided assistance on the spot.
