An accident between a motorbike and a passenger vehicle in Cherokee County claimed the life of a 48-year-old man on Saturday night.
Around 6:30 p.m., a car turning left from Ridge Mill Drive struck Tyler Cole Letson’s motorbike as it was traveling west on Georgia Highway 92, according to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office. Letson was a resident of Lula.

Letson was critically injured in the collision and sent to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, where he tragically passed away.
While a child passenger of the involved vehicle only received minor injuries, the driver was hospitalized with critical wounds.
The incident is still under investigation by the authorities.
