A 12-year-old child was discovered dead early on Saturday morning, some time after the Tallahassee Police Department received a complaint of his being missing while riding his bike.
Just after midnight, TPD issued the first notice for 12-year-old Toby Wells. According to the complaint, he was a young runaway who had last been seen in Northeast Tallahassee’s 3800 block of Broadmore Lane.
The body of Wells has been discovered, according to a police update issued about 2:00 p.m. Public safety was not in danger, but no other information was provided.
On East Tennessee Street, close to Hillcrest Street, TPD reported a tragic collision involving a bicycle and a car earlier in the day on Saturday.
