On January 15, 2023, Stevie Nicole Mann, 31, of St. Marys, Pennsylvania, passed away suddenly.
She was a daughter of DeAnna Brooks of St. Marys and Stephen F. Mann of Wilcox and was born on October 8, 1991, in St. Marys.
2012 saw Stevie complete his studies at Agora Charter School after attending Johnsonburg Schools.
She took great satisfaction in her work ethic and held three jobs while still a high school student, including catering, Osram-Sylvania, and BiLo in Johnsonburg.
She was a four-year history major who was also an enrichment student, and she and her family were overjoyed when she was accepted to the University of Pittsburgh’s main campus as a freshman to continue her studies.
She was only a few credits away from finishing her degree.
She enjoyed literature, alternative music, and skateboarder Nyjah [Ny-Jah] Huston, after whom she named her kid.
She developed a heart for Pittsburgh and was a devoted supporter of the city’s sports after living there for four years.
She enjoyed watching and following the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins could discuss statistics and was an expert on the players.
Stevie adored spending the summers in Florida with her aunt Cristal, her sister Kaysie, and her brother Michael when she was a teen and an adolescent. She cherished the beach and the water.
