Alabama resident Shundra McCray Vines was shot and killed in her home in Jefferson County on Thursday morning.
In the early hours of Thursday, Vines, age 43, was shot and killed in her Birmingham home.
It was reported that Vines was discovered at 12:30 a.m. on Thursday at 2521 24th Street Ensley in Birmingham with apparent gunshot wounds.
Vines was found shot to death, and his death was ruled an instant death.
The investigation did not reveal any suspects or possible motivations.
Her murder investigation has been opened by the Birmingham PD.
