#BCoPD’s hearts are saddened today over the loss of Police Officer Horren Tyler’s life.
Officer Tyler was shot and killed during a tactical operation at a Brandon, Mississippi, home on June 1, 2023.
Officer Tyler had served with the Madison (MS) Police Department for seven years and was the supervisor of the Narcotics Division.
He had previously retired as the police chief of Ridgeland Police Department after serving 27 years. He was a graduate of the 228th Session of the FBI National Academy.
