Shanti Lewis has passed away in a vehicle in Quincy.
A young lady identified as Shanti Lewis has been shot dead inside a car.
Shanti Lewis, just 18-years of she was shot dead in a car at Gadsden County in the night of Friday, August 26, 2022.
According to preliminary findings, Shanti Lewis was traveling in a vehicle with two other persons.
They were on West Crawford Street near South 9th Street in Crawford when a person in another vehicle opened fire on their vehicle,
Shanti Lewis sustained gunshot wounds and lost her life but the other passengers in the vehicle survived without any injuries.
Homicide investigations into this incident is active.
