Moore made her stage one uterine cancer diagnosis public in October of 2020. At the end of November 2020, she took a break and then went back to her translating position for “Team Kentucky” briefings.
Memorial services are forthcoming, according to the KCDHH Board, and information will be released as soon as it is available. They advise making gifts in her honor to the Knowledge Center on Deafness or the Jacob’s Hall Museum at the Kentucky School for the Deaf.
