The body of an old man who went missing in the western suburbs has been located, according to his relatives.
The 83-year-old Jose Guadalupe Arevalo was last spotted last week leaving his Berwyn home. He was just sporting a green flannel shirt, a pair of blue pants, and a cap, according to his relatives, and he had Alzheimer’s illness.
His granddaughter attested that Berwyn police informed the family after discovering his body Tuesday morning.
Arevalo worked as a mechanic in this Berwyn neighborhood for almost 25 years. The man, known as Don Lupe, had recently turned 83 years old.
The public’s assistance in the search efforts is acknowledged by the family.
