According to the official account, surveillance footage revealed that Leon was operating a Ford Expedition in the southbound lane of Louisiana State Road 415.

After checking the area, they discovered an accident scene on westbound Interstate 10 around mile marker 145.

A body matching Leon’s description was reportedly discovered alongside the vehicle at the crash site, which was confirmed by authorities.

According to Patrick Steward, Leon is a close friend of his and is “the type of guy that’s always smiling.” Willing to lend a hand to those in need.

Steward claims that Leon, a local DJ, is well-liked and highly regarded. The client remarked, “Jeff would do a gig for you for free if he knows you and he loves you and your circumstances; he’s just a good heart person all around.” When asked about the recipient of the miracle, the guy said, “He really is a true child of God for something like this to happen to him at this very moment.”

Family and friends of missing DJ Jeffrey Leon across Acadiana and beyond are looking for signs of life in the wake of his disappearance on August 12.

Leon, a close buddy of Patrick Steward’s, is described by his friend as “the type of guy that’s always smiling.”

A local legend, according to Steward, DJ Leon is a must-see.

If Jeff knows and likes you, he’ll do a gig for free. He has a kind heart and wants to help people. According to him, “for something like this to happen to him at this moment, he must be a true child of God.”

Someone, he claimed, is always aware of where Leon is at all times, so he never goes anywhere alone.

It’s “like unreal” that “all of a sudden” he disappeared after speaking to his wife, he claimed.

Baton Rouge police lieutenant L’Jean McKneely expressed urgency in the department’s investigation.

While at the petrol station, he called. And now you’re claiming he was on his way home and he never arrived?” McKeely questioned. So, we’re continuing to look into the situation in an effort to trace his steps. That’s why we’re making a public appeal for help.

According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, Leon was last seen at the Basin Music Hall (336 Third Street). He was seen driving a white Ford Expedition from 2008 while dressed in a white T-shirt and a red baseball cap.

It’s unbelievable that no one has heard from Jeff in so long, so I wish that the family may finally find some peace of mind now.

Anyone who has seen Leon or had contact with him is asked to call the Baton Rouge Police Department at (225) 389-2000.
