After a fight with pancreatic cancer, Richard Michael Stalter, 76, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at his home.
He was born on February 14, 1947, to Helene C. (nee: Souders) and Albert T. Stalter in Zanesville, Ohio. From New Lexington High School in New Lexington, Ohio, he received his diploma in 1965. He wed Loraleita Parry, his high school girlfriend, on November 23, 1968.
He graduated from George Washington University with a master’s degree in project management after earning his bachelor’s degree in retail marketing from Bowling Green State University. He additionally received his commercial, instrument, and multi-engine certificates from the Spartan School of Aeronautics.
The funeral mass will start at 10:30 am on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, located at 313 North State Street in Westerville, Ohio.
Visitation will take place on Monday, March 13, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Moreland Funeral Home, located at 55 East Schrock Road in Westerville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
