Mia Sara was born on June 19, 1967 in Brooklyn Heights, New York, USA. She made her film debut as Princess Lily in the 1985 film Legend, playing opposite Tom Cruise.
The following year, she gained wider recognition for her role as Sloane Peterson in the film Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. She has since starred in other films movies including Shadows in the Storm, By the Sword and A Stranger Among Us, among others.
She has also made guest appearances in such television shows as The New Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Time Trax, Chicago Hope, CSI: NY and Nightmares and Dreamscapes: From the Stories of Stephen King.
