Mercedes LeAnza, Amazon Studios’ Lead Creative Producer, died at the age of 40.
The drama series (Hunters), starring Al Pacino, was LeAnza’s first credit as a lead creative producer for Amazon in 2020.

On May 15, a memorial service for friends and coworkers will be held in Los Angeles.
The family requests that donations be made to charities or the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation in memory of LeAnza.

Sonny Michael Olivera, her devoted husband; her mother, Sandra LeAnza; her brother, Kyle, and sister-in-law, Elizabeth LeAnza; her estranged father, Glen LeAnza; and her uncle and aunt, Chris and Julie LeAnza, and their three sons, Kai, CJ, and Jax, survived her.
