Biography:

Melissa Claire Egan was born on September 28, 1981 in Pound Ridge, New York. She attended University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she graduated with a BA in Dramatic Art.

In 2005, she made her film debut with Wrestling. The following year, she landed the role of Annie Novak Chandler in the soap All My Children, where she earned Daytime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress.

She then went on to play the role of Chelsea Lawson in another soap, The Young and the Restless. She has also appeared in other TV shows such as Dawson’s Creek, One Tree Hill and Men at Work.
