Following the demise of Mary Jane Clark, a cherished local and close friend to many, the close-knit town of Durango is in grief.
The Daniels family, who considered Mary Jane’s home in Durango to be a second home, was sorry to learn of her passing. Mary Jane died peacefully there.
Mary Jane Clark was a stalwart of the neighborhood, well-known for her warmth, generosity, and unrelenting dedication to enhancing Durango. She participated extensively in a variety of neighborhood groups and activities, such as the local food bank, animal shelter, and school system. She devoted her life to promoting education and did everything in her power to guarantee that every child in Durango had access to a high-quality education.

A memorial service for Mary Jane Clark will be held at the Durango Community Center next week, where friends and community members will have the opportunity to pay their respects and celebrate her life.
