After being shot by his 26-year-old Cook County boyfriend, Marcell D. Johnson “Cello” died.
Marquis Johnson reportedly acknowledged to killing Johnson and concealing his body inside a Harvey, Texas, abandoned home at 15817 Myrtle Avenue, according to law enforcement authorities.
In the course of a homicide investigation on Thursday, a Harvey man admitted to killing his partner and burying him in the garden.
At around 3:10 pm, Marquis Johnson, 26, was detained due to an outstanding warrant in Chicago.
He admitted to killing his partner and buried him in the yard of a Harvey abandoned house at 15817 Myrtle Avenue.

The body of an unidentified guy was discovered by law authorities at the address the suspect gave.
According to police, this was a singular incidence and there is no danger to the public’s safety.
