A Missouri man was charged on Sunday for a tragic collision that injured a police officer and claimed the life of a fireman.
Kody Skaggs, age 21, was charged with DWI causing serious injury and death, according to the Wright County prosecutor.

On a Saturday morning in Mansfield, Missouri, Justin Sanders and Michael Shane Bryson were conducting traffic surveillance while riding along in a Ford pickup truck.
Reports on KYTV Skaggs struck Sanders and Bryson while operating a GMC pickup vehicle in the middle of the street. Sanders, according to authorities, passed away there. In Springfield, Missouri, a hospital was visited by Bryson.
