Julia Benson is a Canadian actress whose career started in the mid-2000s. During her initial years, she made one-time roles in The Dead Zone, Tru Calling, The Evidence, Stargate Atlantis, and Masters of Horror. In 2007, she made her film debut in Road to Victory, followed by small roles in the movies Numb and Blonde and Blonder. Her first starring role on TV was as Lt. Vanessa James in Stargate Universe, which she played from 2009 to 2011. She reprised her role in SGU Stargate Universe Kino. Afterward, she played recurring character Jeri Drake in Cedar Cove. More recently, she played Professor Robin Benson in the web series The Order. In the 2010s, she’s also appeared in the films Death Do Us Part, Dead Rising: Watchtower, Interrogation, My Little Pony: The Movie, and To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.
