Joseph John Lando (born December 9, 1961) is an American actor best known for his role as Dr. Quinn’s Medicine Woman’s Byron Sully. Lando went at Lincolnshire, Illinois’ Stevenson High School. In Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, he played a patrolman for the first time. His performance as Jake Harrison in the serial series One Life to Live garnered him recognition, and he went on to co-star as Michaela Quinn’s love interest, Byron Sully, in the popular drama Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. He has also starred in and executive produced the television shows The Guiding Light and Higher Ground. He’s also featured in movies like Seeds of Doubt (1996) and No Code of Conduct (1998). (1998). He also appeared with Lori Loughlin in the television series Summerland. In the TV series The Secret Circle, he portrayed John Blackwell, the father of the main heroine (Cassie Blake).
