Jamil Ahmad Kaine Obituary and Funeral Service, Dearborn

Following a fatal gunshot inside the Mass Transportation Authority (MTA) facility in downtown Flint, authorities have detained one person, they stated Thursday afternoon.

On June 1, Flint Police Chief Terence Green stated that the shooting, which happened at midday, appeared to be a one-off event between two guys.

Green claimed that a 21-year-old man who worked at a store inside the MTA facility was shot and killed by a 38-year-old Flint man.

After hearing the gunfire at the MTA location, a Flint police officer assigned to the area pursued the suspect as he ran away to the west from the building.

Nearly two blocks from the shooting location, the suspect was arrested. Police seized a gun they believe was the one used in the shooting.

What led to the shooting was not disclosed by the police.
