James Doxtator Murder: How Did Jeffrey Dahmer Kill James Doxtator

It is revealed in the Netflix documentary “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” that serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer killed around 17 males and boys between 1978 and 1991. Jeffrey’s first murder occurred in 1978, but he claimed he had overcome his criminal tendencies by 1987. The murder of Steven Tuomi, however, reignited his lust for murder.

Jeffery Dahmer’s method of murdering James Doxtator.
James Doxtator, who was 14 when he was murdered, was a Wisconsin resident. Some say James worked as a prostitute to make ends meet, while others say he ran away from home two days before his death. His mom, on the other hand, said he was a vivacious, happy person who was very social and enjoyed meeting new people. What’s more, he was Native American and hoped to improve his life one day. Yet the young man had no inkling of the tragedy that would take his life so suddenly.

Jeffrey was on the lookout for new victims after murdering Steven Walter Tuomi on November 20, 1987, and he came across James Edward Doxtator on January 18, 1988. In a related note, James Doxtator apparently suffered at the hands of an abusive father. As a result, James made the difficult decision to run away from home, despite his mother’s deep love for him. James up and moved to West Allis, Wisconsin on January 16, 1988, without giving anyone advance notice.

Next, Jeffrey encountered the young man, then aged 14, at a bus stop near West Allis’s 219 Club, a gay nightclub. After striking up a conversation, Jeffrey invited the adolescent back to his grandmother’s house for the express purpose of having him pose for a nude photoshoot. As a final bribe, the serial killer offered James fifty dollars, and the man reluctantly agreed to accompany Jeffrey to his home.

After returning James to Catherine’s, Jeffrey engaged in sexual activity with the 14-year-old but soon realized he needed to gain control. So, the serial killer drugged James, but that wasn’t enough, so he strangled the teen to death. James’ body was kept in the basement for about a week before it was finally buried. Disposal was complicated because Jeffrey’s grandmother also lived in the house.

Once he was alone with his victim, Jeffrey dismembered him and dissolved his flesh in acid. Further, James’ bones were crushed and discarded with those of his other victims. Actually, when James’ mom found out he was missing, she contacted the police and did everything she could to help them find him. James was identified as one of Jeffrey’s victims after the serial killer’s arrest in July 1991, but his remains were never located.
