Sunday night’s shooting in the Beverly Crest neighborhood of Los Angeles left three dead and four others injured. The victims, all women, were from the states of Illinois and Arizona.
According to the coroner, Iyana Hutton, 33, was a native and resident of Chicago, while Nenah Davis, 29, was from Boiling Brook. Twenty-six-year-old Destiny Sims lived in Buckeye, Arizona.
According to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department, three people were pronounced dead at the scene when firefighters and paramedics were called at 2:35 a.m. on Saturday to the 2700 block of North Ellison Drive.
Following the investigation, police revealed that all three victims were found dead in a vehicle parked in front of the house.
Two were transported by paramedics, and the other two went to the hospital on their own, although it wasn’t a trauma center, as Stewart explained. Two were in really serious condition, while the other two were stable.

An “assault with a deadly weapon call” was placed around 2:40 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division said. A police officer said that homicide detectives were dispatched to the scene about 6:30 a.m.
The shooting happened at the border between Beverly Hills and Bel Air, in the Santa Monica Mountains. The house was a “short-term rental,” according to the detectives, as reported by ABC7.
According to the police, there was a gathering there.
“We’re continuing interrogating additional residents as well as witnesses and neighbors,” LAPD’s Bruce Borihanh told reporters. “Investigators are also knocking on doors in search of further security video or any evidence that will assist us identify what happened here and why these victims were shot,” the statement reads.
