Italo Zanzi, a sports business executive and attorney, was born in New York on May 18, 1974, and is now the CEO of Serie A club AS Roma.

Italo formerly worked for the America’s Cup Event Authority, where he was in charge of media rights sales and future event development. He has served as a consultant on a number of independent sports and entertainment company ventures. Italo was the Deputy General Secretary of CONCACAF until October 2011.

At the 2003 Pan American Games, he participated in 75 international matches and earned a bronze medal. Zanzi had excellent performances against Argentina and Brazil in the 2003 Pan American Games, and was instrumental in the USA’s triumphs over Mexico (21 saves) and Uruguay in the Bronze Medal game.
