John Felix Anthony Cena is a WWE-signed American professional wrestler, actor, and former rapper. Having held the most world championships in WWE history, Cena is largely recognized as one of the all-time best professional wrestlers.
Cena moved to California in 1998 to pursue a bodybuilding career before switching to professional wrestling in 1999, making his debut for Ultimate Pro Wrestling (UPW).
In 2001, he signed with the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) and was assigned to its developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), where he won the OVW Heavyweight Championship and the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship.

In a 2018 interview with the Associated Press, Cena revealed why he will continue to grant wishes “as long as they’re asking me to do it.”
“It really is pretty magical when they get a really intimate experience with the individual and then they get to go see them be a superhero [in a WWE performance]. I’ll do that as long as I can, as long as they’re asking me to do it.”
