Grant Fox: Who is Ryan Fox father?
Grant Fox is a former rugby union player from New Zealand and was a member of the All Blacks team that won the inaugural Rugby World Cup in 1987.
Born in New Plymouth on June 16, 1952, he attended Auckland Grammar school. From 1985 to 1993, he wore the number 10 jersey and was the main goalkicker for the All Blacks.
He was also a member of the New Zealand Cavaliers which toured South Africa, in 1986, following the cancellation of the official NZRFU tour in 1985.
He also won the inaugural Rugby World Cup with New Zealand in 1987, which became the highlight of his career.
After his time playing the sport, he has also worked as a coach. In the 1995 New Year Honours, he was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire, for services to rugby.
He currently works as a commentator on Sky Sports, NBC Sports as well as the EA Sports rugby union series. In addition, he has been a selector with the New Zealand All Blacks since 2011.
