Lauren’s contributions to the families she worked with, to our department, and to our larger society will remain with all of us. Lauren created a systematic support program in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and associated follow-up programs at Tisch Hospital through the Early Childhood Program. Lauren also contributed to her undergraduate education. She developed the course Looking Back on Growing Up for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies (CAMS) undergraduate minor, which was a huge hit with over 1000 NYU students.
