Frances Rispoli
Frances Rispoli of Greenwich, CT passed away peacefully at the Nathaniel Witherell Nursing Home in Greenwich, CT on Friday, September 11, 2015 at the age of 85.
She was born on September 19, 1929 in Greenwich, CT.
After graduating from Port Chester High School in 1947, Frances worked as a secretary at Fawcett Publications in Greenwich, CT. On September 9, 1950, Frances married Michael Rispoli of Port Chester, NY. Frances left Fawcett Publications to work side by side with Michael in the family business, Bruce Park Grill in Greenwich, CT until they started a family.
Frances had a strong religious faith and was a lay minister at ST. Mary’s Church in Greenwich, CT for many years. In addition to her faith, Frances loved watching old classic movies and going out with her family. She was devoted to her family.
In recent years, she developed a close relationship with her roommate, Theresa Strazza, whom was like a sister to her and she became another member of the family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Michael P. Rispoli, her daughter, Dale Bova and son-in-law Joseph of Hadley, MA, her daughter, Mary Kralick and son-in-law Ron of Stamford, CT, and her son, Michael T. Rispoli and daughter-in-law Anna of Greenwich, CT. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Anthony Bova and his wife Emily, Peter Bova and his wife Olga, Christina Light and her husband Tim, Michael P. Rispoli II, Kristen Rispoli, Ashley Rispoli and her great-granddaughter, Gabriella Bova. Frances was predeceased by her parents Lucy and Annuziato Fortugno, her sisters Agnes DiFalco and Josephine Summa.
