Biography:

Elizabeth Henstridge was born on September 11, 1987`in Sheffield, England. She first attended Meadowhead School and Languages College, and later graduated from University of Birmingham.

She began her acting career when she appeared with a small role in a short film called Easy Under the Apple Bough. In 2011, she gained recognition as a result of her portrayal of Emily Alexander in the soap Hollyoaks.

The following year, she starred as Riley Stuart in her first feature film, The Thompsons. She went on to play the role of Jemma Simmons in the series Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
