Dr. McGregor has received extensive training in the management and treatment of high-risk skin cancers, dermatologic surgery, as well as, complex medical dermatology.
Dr. McGregor completed a one-year fellowship in micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology with Dr. David Kent, MD at the Skin Care Physicians of Georgia in association with Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, GA. During his fellowship, Dr. McGregor performed more than 1,200 Mohs surgery cases and managed complicated cases of basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma, among other cutaneous malignancies.
Prior to his fellowship, Dr. McGregor completed a residency in dermatology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. During his time at Wake Forest University, he received exceptional training from leaders in the field of dermatology, specializing in psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, skin cancer and complex medical dermatology.
Dr. McGregor completed his medical training at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, GA. Prior to medical school, he received a doctorate in pharmacy from Palm Beach Atlantic University. His prior training as a pharmacist gives him the opportunity to effectively manage the dermatologic needs of his patients.
Dr. McGregor’s areas of special interest and expertise include micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology.
A published author of multiple research papers in surgical and medical dermatology, Dr. McGregor has presented at regional and national conferences.
Dr. McGregor is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and an Associate of the American College of Mohs Surgery. Dr. McGregor is also a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
