Richard Bond, M.D. is a board-certified Ophthalmologist and longtime resident of Corpus Christi, Texas who is dedicated to helping patients achieve their best vision. Areas of expertise include glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes and diabetic retinopathy, and external eye conditions including corneal diseases, dry eye, tearing, redness and irritation, eyelids and eyelashes. Dr. Bond completed his undergraduate studies at the highly acclaimed University of Texas at Austin and went on to earn his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center Medical School in San Antonio, Texas. Following his schooling, he completed an internship at the Central Texas Medical Foundation Breckenridge Hospital in Austin, Texas and his residency in Ophthalmology at the Texas Tech University Health Science Center. Dr. Bond is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association, American Medical Association, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
