Dr. Patrick McDonough, MD – Dallas, TX

Dr. Patrick Henry McDonough specializes in medical and surgical Dermatology and treats all disorders of the skin, hair and nails in both pediatric and adult populations. Dr. McDonough has extensive experience with patients with complex medical problems, connective tissue diseases like lupus and sarcoid, psoriasis, drug reactions, acne, rosacea, eczema, hair loss, warts, and skin cancer, including patients at high risk of skin cancer due to immunosuppression, organ transplantation, and individuals who have just lived all their life in the Texas sun!

Dr. McDonough completed his internship and Dermatology residency at the renowned UT Southwestern Medical Center. During residency training, Dr. McDonough was honored to be selected chief Dermatology resident at the Dallas VA Medical Center and to receive the 2016 Cognitive Excellence and 2016 Star Clinician awards. He has continued his passion for education by accepting a position as Clinical Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern where he will help to train future Dermatologists.
