He received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed a residency and chief residency at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. He completed a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at the Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh and then a second fellowship and pediatric critical care medicine at the University of Rochester Golisano Children’s Hospital. He has been in practice 25 years.
He is currently the Chief of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and the Chair of Geisinger Pediatrics and the Janet Weis Children’s Hospital.
He is experienced in life-threatening asthma, ARDS, neurocritical care, sepsis and the care of children with complex multi-system disease.
