Overview of Dr. Moya
Fernando A. Moya, M.D., Ph.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Baptist Health Orthopedic Care. Dr. Moya specializes in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, including the care of knees and shoulders. Dr. Moya provided medical coverage for the Miami Open ATP, WTA, and the MLS InterMiami CF from 2022-2023.
Along with his medical degree, Dr. Moya holds a Ph.D. in pharmacology from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. He also completed postdoctoral research fellowships at Harvard University and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. He has been published in numerous pharmacological medical journals and is a fellow and member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
