Mar. 1 2021, Updated 8:49 p.m. ET. After almost a year of going head to head with Dream on the Dream SMP server, it looks like Tommyinnit has met his demise. After Tommy faces Dream as they’re trapped in a prison cell, Dream seems to beat Tommyinnit until he is dead.

When did Tommyinnit join the Dream SMP?

TommyInnit (Full name: Thomas Careful Danger Kraken Innit), more commonly known as Tommy, is the ninth member of The Dream SMP, joining on July 4, 2020. He was a founding member and former Vice President of L’Manberg, and a founding member of Pogtopia.
Tommy traded this disc to Dream for the independence of L’Manberg during the Dream Team SMP vs L’Manberg War. Mellohi was then traded from Dream to Tommy during the Railway Skirmish and it was stored in Tommy’s chest for safekeeping until the Reconstruction Era.
After the war, Tommy helped grow L’Manberg by building and recruiting new people. He convinced Jack Manifold to join L’Manberg and helped Wilbur build a park and the Pufferfish Alleyway. Tommy also built his Holiday Home and was involved in many side events.
There also have been conflicting reports regarding his age, such as Wilbur stating Tommy’s age to be around 20, but judging by the negotiations during the Exile Conflict describing conditions “until he turns 18,” it can be determined that his character’s age corresponds with his real-life age. Due to his time spent in the Afterlife, he is approximately two months older mentally. It has also been confirmed that Tommy is immune to the Egg, though it is unclear if this is due to a biological reason or not.
On January 26, Tommy went to Sam Nook for the instructions, but was irritated because it meant he had to stop watching Endgame. He was then met by Niki who said she could help him and began leading Tommy to a snowy taiga biome. Unbeknownst to Tommy, Niki was in fact leading him to the location of a nuclear testing site so that he would die. On the way there, Tommy got continuously distracted by the trees and stopping to rant about Endgame. This made him unknowingly save his life because they were a few seconds late to the testing site and upon arrival found a huge crater where the nuke had been detonated.
Tommy has a chaotic, prideful personality, which often him into conflicts with other members. He also tends to be confident in himself and his own abilities. However, when he loses, he goes into a state of grief before recovering and picking fights again.
Why did the Dream SMP have three lives?
After the Manberg-Pogtopian War, Wilbur Soot, the previous head writer for the Dream SMP, spawned the “Three Lives System” to better their storytelling and legitimize death on the server. Ironically enough, Wilbur was one of the first characters to lose all three of his canon lives, although this was by choice.

Tommy claimed this would be his last visit to Dream, but little did he know that would be true for reasons out of his control. While visiting Dream, a TNT explosion went off outside the prison, and Tommy was trapped with Dream for seven days.
Tommy says to Dream during his visit, “You ruined my past, Dream, but you will not ruin my future.”. Of course, that’s exactly what Dream does after Tommy claims the “revive” book is not real. This angers Dream, who then beats Tommy with a potato until Tommyinnit is dead.
All three times Tommyinnit died were by the hand of Dream, and vice versa, although Dream has one canon life left. Tommy was first killed during the War for L’Manbergian Independence twice by Dream. However, many fans are distraught and hope that this is not really the end for Tommy. According to Tommy’s Twitter, though, he really is dead.
