One of the two victims of the weekend shooting in Middletown has been named Daniel Fitzgerald
According to the Butler County Coroner’s Office, Cincinnati resident Daniel Fitzgerald, 25, passed away at the scene of the gunshot on 15th Avenue early on Saturday morning.
According to a post on social media by the police department, Middletown officers responded to allegations of two victims who had been shot in the 700 block of 15th Avenue.
Officers arrived on the site and discovered Fitzgerald and another individual with gunshot wounds.
According to our news partners at WCPO, the other victim of the shooting was brought to Atrium Medical Center where they eventually passed away.
If someone has been arrested in relation to the incident, it is unknown.
According to the coroner’s report, Fitzgerald was killed by another person.
