A 20-year-old man was killed and seven people, including two badly injured, were hurt in a shooting into a throng outside a house in Savannah on Friday night.

All other victims, including an 18-month-old baby, sustained non-life-threatening wounds, according to police, who stated this during a news conference on Saturday. Arthur Milton was the man who died, and two other teenagers, ages 15 and 16, were also hurt in the shooting, according to Savannah police chief Roy Minter.

Six automobiles and three apartments were also damaged as a result of the shooting. At least 60 round casings were discovered by police at the location, where they believe gunfire was fired by a driver of a dark-colored or red vehicle.

Minter suggested that the shooting on Friday may have been connected to an earlier event at the same house, which was damaged by 10 gunshots on Tuesday night.

Minter stated, “We don’t think that was a coincidence.

As of Saturday afternoon, no suspects had been named by the police.

Minter pleaded for people to come forward with information that could aid the current inquiry on numerous occasions.

Police chief: When it comes to requests for reform, law enforcement “cannot stick our heads in the sand.”
