Brazilian footballer Bruno Guimares Rodriguez Moura, who plays as a midfielder for Newcastle United of the Premier League and the Brazil national team, was born on November 16, 1997.

Prior to receiving his senior cap for Brazil, Guimares was qualified to play for Spain.

Guimares participated in the 2020 CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament for Brazil’s under-23 team. On June 17, 2021, he was selected for the 2020 Summer Olympics team.

Guimares had previously been named in the Brazilian team call-up in March 2020, but that summoning was delayed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

He made his debut in a 2-0 away victory over Uruguay on November 17, 2020. Guimares was called up to the senior Brazil squad in September 2020 for 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification matches against Bolivia and Peru on October 9 and 13, respectively.

Wife and Children

Though not married, he has a son with his longtime girlfriend. Friday, October 21, 2022, marked the birth of Matteo (their son) for Guimaraes, 24, and his partner Ana Lidia Martins, 25.

Parents and Siblings

His parents are Marcia Moura, his mother, and his father, Dick Gomez.

Reports claim he’s an only child.
