Ashley Banks Dies in Traffic Collision Car Accident In Belt Parkway Highway

Two people died in a terrible crash on the Queens Belt Parkway on Saturday, splitting their car in half, according to the authorities.

The casualties, a 29-year-old woman and a 35-year-old male, are not yet known in order to give their relatives time to get in touch with them.

According to law enforcement sources, the incident happened at around 3:45 a.m. when a westbound Dodge Challenger struck the back of a Mazda CX5 close to Springfield Boulevard.

After hitting the Mazda, the Dodge appeared to lose control and hit a post, severely damaging the car and unfortunately killing both occupants—the woman passed away at the scene.

The male victim was quickly picked up by emergency personnel and taken in serious condition to Jamaica Medical Center. Medical professionals tried their hardest to save him, but they were unsuccessful. The 32-year-old Mazda driver amazingly walked away from the collision unscathed.

The inquiry to ascertain the precise cause and circumstances of the collision has been given to the Highway Collision inquiry Squad of the New York City Police Department.
