In Kane County, Andrew Roycroft passed away in a single-vehicle collision on Friday night.
The sole occupant of a Ford Escape that overturned around 9:38 p.m. was Andrew J. Roycroft, 22, of Hoffman Estates. It was moving west on Beith Road in Campton Township, which is located just east of Route 47.
Roycroft was discovered by a witness outside the car. At Geneva’s Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital, Roycroft was declared deceased.
The collision is being looked into by the sheriff’s office in Kane County. According to a sheriff’s news release, it is unknown whether drugs or alcohol were involved.
