According to recent reports, Amara Strande has passed leaving their family in pain.

Amara heroically battled cancer, and although we at Clean Water Action Minnesota only had a brief acquaintance with her, we quickly and deeply fell in love with her. Her laugh was contagious, and I frequently found myself laughing at her quick wit. Even the most seasoned legislators were enthralled by her speech as she outlined the need of passing the PFAS Prevention Package.
She exposed the hazards poses pose by sharing her own honest and transparent way. I repeatedly told her that I was in awe of her. She would smile and shrug since she didn’t hide the fact that she was magnificent.
The world HAS been transformed by Amara and her family. They were open and truthful.
